Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Consultant who is adept in development, coaching, consulting, and troubleshooting across all areas of the ServiceNow platform.


This role demands a professional who brings a rich blend of expertise in ITSM architecture and development, Service Portal development, and Customer Service Management (CSM) development. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills, a creative thinker, able to work independently and in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and solutions. This role is perfect for someone looking to make a significant impact in our client organizations through the power of ServiceNow technology. This is a part-time remote opportunity (potential to transition to full time down the road).

Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Portal, and Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in areas like Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Orchestration & Integration, and other ServiceNow modules
  • Provide expert-level consulting and development services, offering innovative solutions and best practices in ServiceNow
  • Lead integration and automation projects using technologies like Workato, Talend, Orchestration, Scripted REST APIs, IntegrationHub, Glide AJAX, and other parsing methods
  • Efficiently import, manage, and coalesce CI and Asset data into the CMDB using various tools and techniques
  • Design and build comprehensive order guides and workflows, especially for processes like onboarding and offboarding, integrating Oracle HCM and other ATS/HRMS tools with ServiceNow
  • Create and manage workflows for various business units, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Internal Audit, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and all core IT functions (PMO, Service Desk, Engineering, Compliance, Security, etc.)
  • Utilize extensive experience as a Certified ServiceNow Administrator and Developer to implement complex ServiceNow solutions
Required Qualifications:
  • US citizen who possesses and/or is capable of obtaining a US Federal Government issued Security Clearance
  • 7+ years of full-time, hands-on experience in ServiceNow
  • Proven track record of working in diverse industries
  • Extensive background in software development, particularly in web and enterprise applications
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple industries, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) in various modules
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Desired Qualifications
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITILv3 or v4) certification
  • Certifications in ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Security Operations (SecOps)
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)


* Note that preferred candidates are 1099 independent consultants, however W2 hourly consultants are also being considered. The hours relating to this work will fluctuate and this will not be a full-time opportunity initially. At peak, the hours relating to this work may exceed 40 hours per week.
