Primary Location: Washington, D.C.

Travel: 5% within the Washington, D.C. area

Clearance: Active Secret

Job Description:

The ServiceNow Administrator will need to perform day-to-day support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and associated applications. Facilitate and support the rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow. Help with ServiceNow Version updates and new releases to include testing, documentation, user training and implementation. Create, configure, and troubleshoot Forms, Workflows, Interfaces, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. Document processes and maintain related knowledge base articles. Configure ServiceNow to meet customer requirements and enhancement requests. Follow change management process to deploy update sets. Comply with ServiceNow best practices and maintain system compliance. Provide rotational off-hour support as required to address production issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Up to 4 years of experience with administering ServiceNow systems
  • Experience with Web Technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Experience with jQuery, Jelly, Bootstrap, and AngularJS frameworks Is a plus
  • Understanding of ITIL, HR, ServicePortal, and ITSM

  • Demonstrated the ability to work independently and with others, prioritize individual work load, troubleshoot, and remedy problems
  • Being able to effectively communicate with internal team members
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
